Dam: Ginger’s Jazz of Raspberry Woods (born 8-11-05)

Jazz is a beautiful apricot with hints of red in her fur. She stands 23 inches at the shoulder, and weighs approximately 42 pounds. She loves the outdoors and loves to play and swim in our pond. Consequently, she gets lots of exercise and is strong and slender. She is good with our grandchildren. At the same time, she is a good watch dog because, when strangers are around, she barks and stands away from them until we let her know that they are okay. Jazz is never aggressive and has never tried to bite anyone. She is our pet, lives in our house, sleeps at the foot of our bed, sits on the couch or in our laps when we watch TV, goes swimming with us, kayaking with us, and travels with us whenever it is possible. She is OFA certified fair for hip dysplasia and has CERF verification for normal eyes.

Sire: Phillips Red Maximum Voltage (born 4-11-2006)

Max is a very dark red male who came to join our family in February of 2008. He has adjusted well to us and to Jazz and Cedar. He and the girls are almost inseparable. They play and hunt together most of the day, and Max watches out over his girls faithfully. Max is 27 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 60 pounds. Although he is a large dog, he is very friendly, affectionate, and thinks he should be a lap dog. He is also very good with our grandchildren, and good at traveling in the car. Max is friendly with everyone right from the first introduction. We are very blessed to have him with us. Here are his testing results:
Hips: PennHIP test (reference #870342) revealed 0.31 right and 0.35 left laxities (an EXCELLENT result). His hip results place him in the 90th percentile of all Standard Poodles, meaning 90% of tested Standard Poodles have worse hips than him.
Ataxia (Neonatal Encephalopathy) DNA Results: "Normal" per University of MO AMGL Case 53858, meaning he does not carry the gene, so he cannot pass it to his offspring.
Von Willebrands DNA Results: "Clear"for the disease per VetGen Report 48587; meaning he can never get it and can't pass it to his offspring.
Sebaceous Adenitis: "Normal" per OFA PO-SA2365/19M-Pl
Eyes : CERF - normal (POS-5777)

Dam: Raspberry Woods Jazzy Red Cedar (born 1-13-08)

Cedar is a red pup from Jazz’s first litter with a red sire named Jefferson. As you can see, she is a beautiful girl. She started as a dark red and has lightened to a light red as an adult; standing 24 inches at the shoulder and weighing 49 pounds. Cedar loves chasing the birds and has actually caught one in mid air. She also loves to swim in the pond and play keep away with her toys. Like her mom, she is a great watch dog. She barks and stands away from people when they come, but once she knows people are welcome, she warms up to them just fine. She is never aggressive, and is very gentle when taking treats. Her tail wags continuously and her happy disposition has brought us great joy. Her desire to be close to us as much as possible has made her a wonderful, cuddly pet. She has CERF verification for normal eyes and PennHip testing results 0.48 in the median percentiles with no radiographic evidence of hip dysplasia.

Dam: Raspberry Woods Amazing Scarlet Gracie( born 6/01/2010)

This is our new pup, Gracie! She is going through testing and will be ready for breeding by her second birthday of 2012. Be watching for updates and photos of "Raspberry Woods Amazing Scarlet Gracie!" She is a very dark red girl with black points, and combined with Max, should produce very dark red puppies! Her personality is very laid back and sweet. She is a small standard standing 21 inches at the shoulder, but a good eater weighing 43 pounds. She loves to retrieve toys, chase birds and swims right out to us when we are in the water. She figured out on her own how to open our door to let herself in and out without our help! We're not sure we like this trick, but it shows her intelligence for sure! We love her dearly and you will too!

Hips: PennHip testing - 0.47 left and 0.59 right laxities with no radiographic evidence of degenerative joint disease
